Port Dalhousie Community Relations Committee
This committee was struck in April 2007 to develop solutions to combat the poor behaviour of late night patrons as they return to their vehicles in the early morning. The committee is comprised of business owners, residents, regional and city councilors, Niagara Regional Police, city staff and the Port Dalhousie Business Association.
The purpose of the committee is to develop methods to solve the late night problems, test the suggested methods and then meet for a discussion and evaluation.
With the peak summer season just completed, the residents of Port Dalhousie have enjoyed a second season of relative calm thanks to the continuing efforts of the parties mentioned above who still meet regularly. A thank you goes out once again to the City of St. Catharines, participating businesses and the Niagara Regional Police.
